Are you getting error messages 'Setup could not detect your product', TV Tuner not available' or 'Unable to locate capture filter' after Windows 10 installed an update?
This is a known 'feature' of the new release of Windows 10, related to video cameras but also affecting TV tuners and video recorders.
- Go to device manager, right click the display update the drivers, go to monitor ' right click = update drivers = search automatically from the internet.if your drivers are updated.still receives the same problem, restart you computer, allow it to adjusts the display settings.
- If there are any components without drivers, you will find a category named Other devices, Expand it, and Device Manager displays all the devices that are not known by Windows. Power drain: Just check the back of the unit, you can find a pin hole, unplug the charger and turn off the unit. Now put a paper clip in the small pin.
- Anyone updated their Predator Helios 300 (PH315-52) to latest BIOS 1.12 released on September 3 2020. If yes please give a review about your experience, is everything working fine.

Prodinfo: get information on your Hauppauge TV tuner
Prodinfo.exe is a program you can run which will extract information about the WinTV product you have installed such as model and serial number, MAC address, revision, and features which can be used to identify the exact model of your product. The driver for the device must be installed in order to run Prodinfo.exe

How to find the product code of your Hauppauge product:
Hauppauge product codes on WinTV internal boards are normally found on the TV tuner. This is a five digit number normally followed by a revision (REV). You need to look at the first two numbers to determine the product type. The other numbers are related to the accessories which are on the product.
On the MediaMVP, WinTV-USB and other 'boxes', the product code is normally on a label on the bottom of the case.

Hauppauge has a new SDK available for .NET applications. The SDK simplifies the development of TV applications in .NET. The SDK makes it easy for applications to perform functions like querying the available channels, start watching a channel in an application supplied window, pause/play, adjust volume, display OSD graphics, record live tv to a file, etc.

Install Instructions:
- Setup Driver for the first time
- Windows 2000, XP:
- Step 1. Before installing the Realtek High Definition Audio Driver, Press the [Cancel] button if Windows detect the Multimedia Audio device.
- Step 2. Run the setup.exe program to start the installation.
- Step 3. Click on [Next] to continue the procedure. If the screen resolution is lower than 1024*768,press [Yes] to continue the installation. If the Windows popup 'Digital Signature Not Found' message, press [Yes] to continue the installation.
- Step 4. Finally, select to restart the system and press [Finish] to complete the installation.
- Windows Vista, Windows 7, Windows 8:
- Step 1. Run the setup.exe program to start the installation.
- Step 2. Click on [Next] to continue the procedure. If the screen resolution is lower than 1024*768,press [Yes] to continue the installation. If the Windows popup 'Windows can't verify the publisher of this driver software' message, press 'Install this driver software anyway' to continue the installation.
- Step 3. Finally, select to restart the system and press [Finish] to complete the installation.
- Windows 2000, XP:
Updating Driver:
- Windows 2000, XP
- Step 1. Follow Step 2,3,4 described in [Setup at first time] above to complete the procedure.
- Windows Vista, Windows 7, Windows 8:
- Step 1. Run setup.exe, it will remove the original driver in your system.
- Step 2. Click 'Next' to remove the original audio driver in your system.
- Step 3. Once after the original driver removed , reboot the computer.
- Step 4. It will install audio driver automatically after computer restarted.
